Polypropylene copolymer closures have no O-ring to fall out or contaminate contents and are offered with a variety of color coders.<\/p>\n<ul type=\"square\">\n<li>Vials (listed separately) and closures are pressure-tested together at 7.5 psig for air shipment<\/li>\n<li>Threaded, screw closure<\/li>\n<li>Permanently attached, color-coded inserts are free of toxic heavy metals<\/li>\n<li>Inserts do not come in contact with vial contents<\/li>\n<li>Nonsterile<\/li>\n<li>Leakproof\u2020 when used with Nalgene Micro Packaging Vials<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Ordering Information:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Micro Packaging Vial Closures are bulk packed without vials, 500 per inner bag, 1000 per case. Order sterile vials separately (Cat. Nos. 342800, 342805). \u2020 The term \u201cleakproof\u201d applies to Thermo Scientific Nalgene products that meet the following criteria: a) Bottle\/flask\/funnel closure systems with closures smaller than 100mm, after they are filled with water, inverted, withstand air pressure of 2psig for 2 minutes, and no water escapes;. b) Bottle\/funnel\/flask closure systems of larger than 100mm after they are filled with water, inverted for 15 minutes, and no water escapes. Note: these tests, using other liquids, may not yield the same results. To ensure safe usage, customers are advised to test Thermo Scientific Nalgene bottles and closures under conditions of their planned applications.
